What we thought was quite a few years away, is here and now. Fabricators in Brazil have been very busy and have finally created a fabric that will break down 100% when put in landfill inside a maximum of 3 years. Due to this change in fabrics available, we have decided to put our 2017/18 collection on hold to be able to source them alternatively to our usual DuPont Lycra. AMNI Soul Eco is set to be the revolutionary fabric of today and will now be the only fabric we use. With this, Styelle is proud to introduce it's Eco Collection - All Tied Up - in 2018. The Fluity-(CO2)® is a knitted fabric produced with elastane and microfiber biodegradable nylon, the latter with a Brazilian technology, innovative and pioneering in the world. The polymer of nylon 6.6 has been enhanced to allow clothing made from it quickly decompose after disposal in landfills. The breakdown before it took decades to occur in nylon, polyamide generic name, now 50% is already the first year and less than three years is already fully decomposed. This nylon yarn named AMNI® Soul Eco was researched and developed by Rhodia®, a company of Solvay® group. The Fluity-(CO2)® is an article of CO2control® family, a production concept of Santaconstancia that aims to provide more environmentally friendly products. With smooth visual and gently elasticized structure, this article uses microfiber nylon whose filaments can be thinner as an human hair, adding to the product a touch of extreme softness, plus a flexible and nice fit to the body. This softness provides smooth skin contact and exceptional comfort during use associated with good absorption of natural moisture from the body due to nylon feature. The Fluity-(CO2)® has 50+ (in plain colors textiles, without print) UV protection against ultraviolet radiation and is free of toxic chemicals to human skin according international standard Oeko-Tex 100 Class I. The Light - (CO2)® was the first circular knitted fabric produced with biodegradable nylon 6.6, a Brazilian pioneer technology in the world.
