2023 is upon us and the Christmas fiasco is over which can only mean one thing. It’s time to pull out your sparkly, shimmering dresses for a new year’s eve celebration. Wherever you are in the world this year, we all at Styelle want to wish you a fabulous new year! So here are the ways you can celebrate this year across the world, whether you’re travelling to a new city or looking in your own, these are the spectacular events that are synonymous with each city for new year’s eve.

Sydney, Australia 

The pylon projections are not one to miss in Sydney. There are a multitude of ways to see them from the city but here are the best so you can have the best skyline view all night long. Campbells Cove locates you straight in the heart of all the new year's action in the city. With an incredible view of the Opera House and a near-sighted view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for all the fireworks. With food trucks on site, the wait will all be worth it.

Fancy something a little different this year? There is one other great way to get a good view of the fireworks. The Sydney Harbour Cruise offers an obstruction-free viewpoint of the firework display, cursing around the harbour they will find the perfect angle for you to enjoy the midnight magic. London, United Kingdom

The capital city holds their infamous firework display every year in the city centre near the London Eye. Tickets must be pre-purchased so take a look here. The infamous show is displayed on our TVs here in the UK every year and is an unmissable display to immerse yourself in the British new year.

Looking for another way to view the firework spectacular? The Southbank Centre’s NYE party transforms the world-famous Royal Albert Hall into party planet with five floors of pop-up nightclubs, live orchestras, photo studios and even more. Now in its 10th-year celebration, you can expect 2022 to go with a bang. The outdoor spaces here even offer the perfect view to the UK’s largest firework display above.

New York, USA

It is undoubtedly on most people's bucket lists to attend Times Square on NYE at least once in their lifetime. Brace the baltic conditions and be sure to wrap up, it gets even colder than a late night in London here. Most people say to get there as early as 3pm for a good viewing spot. While the wait and busy bustle of New York might seem daunting, this once-in-a-lifetime experience will all be worth it, even if you can’t take a bathroom break to lose your space. Watching the ball drop is truly an iconic and unforgettable moment.

Pairs, France

The whole city of romance is lit up in the Pairs illuminations, many offer tours of the city exploring the landmarks in the beautifully glistening evening. Holding them in the early evening offering you something to explore ahead of the fireworks to welcome the new year in a full Parisian experience. Heading across all the major must-sees in a once-a-year lit-up dream, from the Notre Dame, Louvre, and Champs-Élysées, to the Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel and Moulin Rouge.
