From showering our besties, partners and family with cards to flowers, Valentine's Day is officially beyond us, but why forget to show ourselves some love or gratitude? It’s important to love ourselves all year round, not just for a holiday. But how can we take care of ourselves in this fast-paced society? Here at Styelle we're here to help you learn to do just that…


Meditate

Take anything from 2 minutes to 20 to just breathe! Get comfortable sitting with yourself and silencing your brain, learning to control and master your thoughts is the kindest thing you can do for yourself. Evening Skincare Unwind

Self-discipline is self-care. Take time every evening to unwind, so your body and brain know it's signified time to shut off after work or your long day. Make taking your makeup off and applying your night time skincare a ritual that you can’t wait for. Play your favourite song, add in a step that brings you joy such as an ice roller or even use it as a time to focus on your breathing and meditate. (Remember meditation can take many forms!)



Taking You Time

Take time to do the things YOU enjoy, life is about balance. Date Yourself

Stop waiting for others to do things, get comfortable with yourself and learn to enjoy your own company. Take yourself out for coffee, to the cinema or to the bookstore.
